The Australian made RM2 couples a reciprocating (also known as linear or side to side) action with precision speed control and digital tachometer. It is ideal for creating a gentle washing action in plates, bags and flat-bottomed sample containers, but is equally suited to vigorous end to end shaking at higher speeds. The RM2 is perfectly suited for mixing Mojonnier flasks and the dedicated MR5 Mojonnier rack is available for this application.

OHAUS Reciprocating Shakers are designed for a range of applications including cell cultures and extraction procedures that require accurate, repeatable results. Our shakers are designed to provide consistent, uniform shaking action. The back-and-forth reciprocating motion has a 19 mm stroke length. Permanently lubricated ball bearings and maintenance-free, brushless DC motor provide reliable service and continuous-duty operation.

Analogue Rocking Platform – Tray Size 350 x 350mm Model – ERPM4

The Australian Made ERPM4 is a basic bench top rocking platform that is suitable for a wide range of mixing applications. The solid state speed control has a speed range of 5–50 RPM and is controlled from a single analogue control mounted on the front of the mixer.
Slow acceleration is incorporated in the drive system to reduce the risk of spillage. When required the ERPM4 can run for extended periods unattended.
A Nitrile mat is supplied fitted to the platform and is sufficient for holding containers at low speeds. For higher speeds optional racks are available.
The RR5 Universal rack pictured above has adjustable horizontal rubber covered bars that can be positioned to hold a variety of different sizes and types of containers, including test tube racks, trays, flasks etc.
Stainless steel Tulip clips are also available dedicated to conical flasks from 50ml to 2 litre.

Applications
Variable speed allowing simple adjustment between gentle and aggressive agitation for tasks including blot washing, gel staining/destaining and hybridisation applications.

Digital Rocking Platform – Tray Size 350 x 350mm Model No – RPM5

The Australian Made RPM5 has variable speed plus an adjustable tilt action and is suited to a variety of mixing and washing applications. The digital speed control has a range of 4-57 RPM and is controlled from the easy to read front panel. A large LED display can show set speed and actual speed. Slow acceleration is incorporated in the drive system to reduce the risk of spillage. The timer can be set from 0-99 in either minutes or hours, in addition the RPM5 has 3 memory buttons to allow repeat time/speed functions to be stored. When required the RPM5 can run for extended periods unattended. A Nitrile mat is supplied fitted to the platform and is sufficient for holding containers at low speeds. For higher speeds optional racks are available.
