Amber Silica Gel – Synthetic Amorphous Silicon Dioxide (Granular Form)

Our Amber Silica Gel, made from high-purity synthetic amorphous silicon dioxide, is a high-performance desiccant in granular form designed for efficient moisture absorption. Known for its vivid orange-to-blue-green color change, this silica gel provides an instant visual indicator of saturation, making it ideal for controlled humidity environments.

In its active form, it appears bright orange. As it absorbs moisture, it gradually shifts to a dark blue-green, signaling it’s time for replacement or regeneration. This color-changing gel is perfect for moisture-sensitive applications in laboratories, packaging, electronics, pharmaceuticals, and storage.

Highly hygroscopic and non-combustible, this granular is insoluble in water and should not be used with halogen oxides, hydrogen halides, or strong acids. To maintain effectiveness, avoid exposing it to temperatures above 150°C, as excessive heat may degrade its performance.
