Turbidity Meter

Turbidity meters are instruments used to measure the cloudiness or haziness of water caused by suspended particles, providing a key indicator of water quality. They are widely applied in drinking water treatment, environmental monitoring, industrial processes and wastewater management. At Australian Scientific, we have turbidity meters from HORIBA and Apera Instruments. Our range of portable turbidity meters offer flexibility with a choice of light source technology. Select the Infrared LED light source for ISO 7027 compliance or a tungsten lamp light source for USEPA 180.1 compliance, ensuring your measurements meet required standards. The HORIBA TB220-K is complete with self-diagnostic calibration. This means that it can detect any deterioration of the calibration standards to ensure accurate and reliable measurement. The Apera Instruments TN480 and TN500 models feature the TruRead measurement mode, displaying maximum and minimum values while calculating averages for enhanced accuracy and measurement stability. Compact and reliable, these turbidity meters are ideal for water treatment monitoring, environmental testing, and quality control applications requiring precise turbidity measurement in field or laboratory settings.
