Product Description
LABEC Rolling Thin Film Ovens are manufactured in Australia from high quality stainless steel. Designed with a unique triple wall interior jacket heating system with elements inside the walls for excellent temperature uniformity, the rolling thin film oven is the ideal choice for determining the performance variation of semisolid bitumen under experimental conditions close to that of real life processes.
There are two models available:
RTFO24 is to suit AS2341.10:2015. Test method 10. For determining the effect of heat and air on a moving film of bitumen.
RTFO24-1681 is to suit AS2341.13:1997. Test method 13 for Long-term exposure to heat and air “Durability Test”. This method requires the evaporation of flammable solvent. The Rolling thin film oven RTFO24-1681 meets AS1681-2002 Electrically Heated Ovens in which Flammable Volatiles occur.
